Hello Leanne 😊 I'm so glad you're enjoying the posts! As you can tell...I'm late to tackle much of the hard pruning too though when it comes to the citrus I can't help thinking if we were 'on time' that we might actually be cutting off potential blossom and fruit...it usually works out in the end! Wish you lived closer too. Have a lovely weekend Mxx
We were driving to our son’s place the other day and all of a sudden I said, “There’s Mickey’s Asparagus stalk”, yes exactly the same as your picture. Of course you know I’m not meaning real asparagus, but doesn’t it look exactly the same. Wouldn’t it be lovely if it tasted the same. The afternoon you had with Karima and Sevine looked amazing and the mention of milk pudding reminded me I should have called my friend Susie who is Sri Lankan and makes the best milk pudding. Lemons! Like you we have far too many so we are trying to give them away, I don’t need any more preserved lemons, so it looks like juicing is the go, adding to the lime juice which we had a proliferation of this year. Thank you for another week of delightful conversation
Thank you, Mickey 😊 Always so much happening. I always find it tricky with the hard pruning. Though such good results when done. I am usually later doing it than I should - but the garden soon bounces back. I love the detail in your posts. Wish I was closer to attend more of your events, all are so interesting and inspiring. Grateful that I can sit here in the early morning with my cup of tea and disappear into your world for a while. 🌹
What fun you saw a huge 'asparagus stalk' Sally! Glad you enjoyed the post...I still have dozens of lemons to squeeze! Mx
