Lovely to hear from you Sally :)) The citrus sure are bountiful...I just took 3 dozen oranges and two dozen lemons to friends in Sydney - like you, they have lemon curd on their agenda (and our trees don't even look like I've made a dent! Glad you like the jade too :))

First up I have to say how much I admire your jade necklace, such a lucky find. The citrus have been so bountiful this year. We picked two buckets full of limes, our Eureka Lemon tree which is in totally the wrong place in the garden has given us more lemons this year than in the last nine, but our Lisbon as usual has that many lemons, once again we will be giving them away to the neighbours. There is only so much juice, zest and preserves you can make, but I do make the lemon curd as mentioned previously. I will definitely be making that cake next time the neighbours are over for afternoon tea!!
